Until I actually made the effort to build my own home energy producing unit, the words “magnetic generator” conjured up all kinds of weird and wonderful images. The idea of futuristic designs and complex machines came to mind but in fact, how surprised do you think I was when I actually realized the reality! Often you will hear magnetic energy referred to as numerous things such as perpetual motion, zero point energy, over unity motor, zero point magnets and so on. All weird and wonderful phrases but they all basically have the same meaning and they all do the same thing – produce electricity though the use of magnetic forces. A magnetic generator is a shockingly simple and yet magnificent creation for providing renewable long term electricity for our homes, workshops and small businesses. It definitely poses the question of why hasn’t anyone thought of this idea before now and you can certainly see why the major energy companies across the world didn’t want you to find out about it. However, the only futuristic aspects of these wonderful home energy devices are recent claims that a magnetic generator could potentially last for about 400 years. A rather optimistic estimate in my opinion but could it be a realistic possibility? Well, as we already know, a magnetic generator basically uses magnets and magnetic force to produce large amounts of electricity. The force of the magnets induces perpetual motion meaning that a magnetic generator will run on its own indefinitely whilst producing more energy than it actually consumes. It does not rely on a third party device or separate resource to power itself and as such, it is completely self sustaining. However, they are mechanical devices and consequently they will require a certain degree of basic maintenance although this is minimal. You will require a deep cell battery in order to store your generated electricity and these can be easily acquired very cheaply. Apart from a few connectors a battery box and a meter, there really isn’t much else to it so a long lifespan for your magnetic generator should be achievable. So, 400 years for a magnetic generator? Probably not in my opinion but they will have an extensive lifespan if built correctly and with care. It is quite possible to build your very own magnetic generator for under $122 which could completely eliminate your electric bill and save you a great deal of money at the same time.

If practicing yoga for back pain doesn’t rid you of the pain, it will certainly help to reduce its intensity and frequency. Among the few options available for back pain sufferers is physical therapy. Yoga, although not primarily a therapy, is often offered as a part of the therapy regimen and has proven effective in helping a person master, if not completely alleviate, the pain. Practicing yoga for back pain may be just what you need. Developed in the context of Hinduism, yoga was originally practiced with the goal of uniting the body and mind. In the Hindu tradition, the soul is an invisible system of power centers located along the spine, with branches leading from these to other parts of the body and a main line, connecting each power center to the one above and below it. The system carries a spiritual energy that is inhaled. In theory, practicing yoga for back pain fills your body with this healing and vital force. In yoga, you’re not only breathing in oxygen, but a spiritual energy that surrounds you. This is life energy. In a yoga breathing exercise, you breathe from your belly, tightening your sphincter muscles with each inhalation. The energy gathers in the ‘power center’, located about two inches below your navel. You hold the breath for a few seconds, and when you exhale, you loosen your sphincter muscle and let the your whole body exhale the wasted and noxious energy that may be the cause of your pain. The life energy that you gather in your belly is stored there, and it flows up and down to other power centers, located at points along your spine. You have six power centers in the body and one outside, above the skull. Two power centers are located below the belly power center, called the ‘burner’, in the Zen tradition, one at the base of the spine and the other in the pubic area. Above the burner are three other power centers, the heart and the throat power centers, and the spiritually-charged power center, between the eyes. Each power center absorbs life energy, but power also flows from center to center through the channels that connect these. As you breathe, you will the power that has gathered in the burner to move from power center to power center, allowing the life force to energize one center after another. If you’re practicing yoga for back pain, you’ll begin to notice warmth, radiating from an energized power center and then spreading into the painful area. By infusing your body with life force and concentrating it mentally in the area of the pain, you’re bathing that part of your body with healing energy. Yoga practice aims to foster the free flow of life energy among these centers and, through their branches, to the rest of the body. Yoga postures enable this. They are somewhat unnatural postures that tend to stretch the muscles and loosen them. Although some positions may be stressful, the stress will strengthen the muscles. This is one of the results you want when practicing yoga for back pain.

Mount Kurama is a very popular mountain in Usui Reiki history. It is located in Kyoto, Japan and it is exactly where Mikao Usui had meditated for twenty-one days prior to receiving the powerful Reiki energy. Reiki masters, practitioners, and learners should all strive to visit Mt. Kurama. But then again, a simple visit isn’t enough. To really feel the powers of the holy mountain, 21-day pilgrimage is necessary. Mt. Kurama is a place where you can thoroughly feel nature working around you. The mountain itself is sacred. Meditation can happen in almost every spot and in every location. Reiki masters who have been to the mountain are considered lucky – because they surely have felt nature, God, and Reiki working inside them. Mt. Kurama has two waterfalls. Through it, Dr. Mikao Usui had successfully opened his crown chakra and ultimately received the powers of Reiki. When you visit there now, you will see a shrine just above the waterfalls. Mao son, a deity of the Kurama, is enthroned there. With the water of the falls steadily pouring down, meditation is much easier to achieve. The steady rhythm of the falls is conducive to contemplation. Deep in your meditation, you will feel the pulses and the movements around you being one in your thoughts. Up Mt. Kurama are several Buddhist temples. It is said that the mountain is a spot that connects heaven to earth. The entire place is inviting, calming, and quiet. It can take you away from the chaos of this world and experience peace from inside and out. Mt. Kurama is oozing with strong energy from all points. All Reiki practitioners should experience what Usui Sensei had felt while he’s up there. The energy of Mt. Kurama is subtle yet complex, broad yet simple. The different energy patterns and frequencies in the area is a proof that Reiki, and everything else it touches, can truly heal. The trees, stones, and waters of the mountain are interconnected with the same energy that influences them in their natural existence. If you are lucky enough to lead a pilgrimage to Mt. Kurama, light as many candles and incenses as you can. The different temples and shrines over the mountain could transform, touch and shift you into a person that is more open to the powers of Reiki and the all natural elements that embodies it. Try to spend twenty-one days on top of Mt. Kurama. On your way down, you’ll be an entirely different person. Your energy level would have expanded, deepened, and broadened. During your stay, you might even feel that 21 days is too short to take on all the energy of the entire place. Yet, that span of time is enough for you to experience how it really feels like to be in close contact with nature and Reiki.
